LM1875 with Bluetooth receiver

Here some pics of one of my latest builds. This is a chip amplifier based on the quite common LM1875 IC. The cool thing about it is the Belkin bluetooth module I had laying around that was used in the build.  Non-polarised input capacitors shown in the above picture were replaced with a pair of Philips MKT capacitors for better performance. The amp sounds great,  deep tight bass with low distortion.

The enclosure is made by hammond Ref. 1591XXTSBK. Injected aluminum with black powder color coating. The finish is quite grainy so it may have been a better option to purchase the bare enclosure and have it painted in some car painting station if you know someone that can do it for you. Anyhow, this black coating won’t scratch easily and hopefully the paint won’t ever scrape off.
